How to find things on this website...

Obviously you can click on the menu links at the left of the web pages, but this may not be very useful if you are looking for all the news items on a particular subject.  This is because we were obliged to put each news release in a single category (e.g. education or environment) although many of them could have been put in two or more categories.

I recommend, therefore, that you use the search facility.

If you want all the articles on the environment, for example, you should enter the word "environment", if you want all the articles which mention "Renfrewshire", then enter the word "Renfrewshire", if you want to read my comments on the BBC, then enter "BBC" etc.

Warning!  There appears to be a minor glitch in the software.  Sometimes when you click on a menu link the relevant press release doesn't seem to appear.  Scroll down the page and you should find it a bit lower!

Welcome to my website!   I hope it will give you a good idea of who I am, what I am doing and how to contact me.

Another point... Look out for the "Read more..." links.  Click on these to see the full text of the articles you are reading.

Criminal Sentencing (Equity Fines) Bill:  Press Launch of Consultation on Member’s Bill for Innovative Method of Punishing Corporate Crime

“I am suggesting the introduction of a new sentencing option in Scotland (equity fines) to improve the ability to punish companies found guilty of criminal offences under Scots law, and therefore also to deter them from committing criminal acts, including (but not exclusively) those which may result in death and injury to individuals, or damage the environment.”  Bill Wilson MSP
